Auctions scheduled on two more Sealy properties

Two foreclosure auctions are scheduled March 27 on properties owned by Fredericksburg-area real estate developers Frank and Linda Sealy.

One of the auctions is for three commercially zoned lots totaling almost 10 acres at 4517, 4525 and 4537 Mine Road in Spotsylvania. Medical offices totaling 123,000 square feet have been envisioned on those lots. That auction will begin at 10:45 a.m. in front of Spotsylvania Circuit Court.

The other is for 184 acres in the Belmont area of Caroline County. That auction is scheduled to start at 1 p.m. in front of Caroline Circuit Court in Bowling Green.

Those two properties were part of a chapter seven bankruptcy case that the Sealys filed in December. Foreclosure auctions for other properties that they owned indirectly through LLCs in Spotsylvania and Caroline were held in December.

Jeremy Root of the Blankingship & Keith law firm is serving as substitute trustee, and Motley’s Auction & Realty Group will assist with the auction. Union First Market Bank is the lender on the properties.
