Auto parts company moving to city

A company that sells automotive parts wholesale to body shops throughout much of Virginia is moving to Fredericksburg’s Battlefield Industrial Park.

KSI Auto Parts has leased about 30,000 square feet of industrial space at 1017 Tyler St., said Gordon Ruleman, KSI’s local manager. Crystal Hicks is the assistant manager.

KSI is currently at 4951 Quality Drive in the Four-Mile Fork area of Spotsylvania County. The company leases about 14,400 square feet there and needed more space due to recent growth, Ruleman said.

KSI plans to move to the Fredericksburg location and close the Spotsylvania site May 1. The company employs about 19 people locally.

KSI is headquarters in New Jersey and has 23 locations in the U.S. including the one in Fredericksburg.
