Log Cabin Market opening in Locust Grove area

An indoor and outdoor market allowing people to set up vending booths selling various products is opening soon in a nearly 4,000-square-foot log home near the new Walmart store in Orange County.

Area resident Tommy Lee, who has been selling collectible model cars and other items at area markets for many years, will open the Log Cabin Market at 35058 Germanna Heights Drive on March 1. He plans a grand opening when the nearby Walmart opens in late May or early June. His store will be open every day.

Lee has already recruited vendors selling chocolates, handmade furniture, sports equipment and more. People interested in setting up a booth can call him at 540/455-9271.

Lee thinks the business provides a good chance for people to test their ideas at a low cost before determining whether to open their own stores. He hopes to open several other locations in the region.
