ABC store moving in Eagle Village

The Virginia ABC store at Eagle Village will move directly next to the Giant grocery store at the Fredericksburg shopping center off U.S. 1 across from the University of Mary Washington.

ABC’s new store will be in the former location of Play It Again Sports, which recently moved into a space closer to the U.S. Post Office at Eagle Village. The Virginia ABC store is currently at that southern end of the shopping center as well.

Construction has begun on ABC’s new, roughly 2,800-square-foot space, and the store is expected to move sometime around March 1. ABC’s current space, which is about 4,600 square feet, will be available for lease.
