Sporting goods store opens at Stafford Marketplace
A sporting goods store has opened in part of the former Borders bookstore space at the Stafford Marketplace shopping center off Garrisonville Road.
Olympia Sports, a company based in Maine, opened about a month ago in a roughly 4,750-square-foot space. The company also has a store in Warrenton.
The Stafford store is next to a Party City location that leased the remaining roughly 12,400 square feet of the former Borders space.
Olympia filled the last vacancy at Stafford Marketplace.
Both of Borders’ former Fredericksburg-area locations have now been fully occupied. Barnes & Noble opened last year in the former Borders store in Fredericksburg’s Central Park shopping center.
