Area employers named among best places to work
Numerous companies with a large presence in the Fredericksburg area were named as among the best places to work in the U.S. on an annual list Fortune released Thursday.
Wegmans Food Markets Inc., which runs a popular grocery store in Fredericksburg’s Celebrate Virginia development, placed fifth on Fortune’s 100 Best Companies to Work For list. Google finished no. 1.
Among the other companies with a sizable local presence that made the list were Edward Jones, Intuit, Men’s Wearhouse, Navy Federal Credit Union and CarMax.
