CBRE takes over leasing efforts on portion of Central Park

Commercial real estate brokerage firm CBRE has taken over leasing and management on a portion of Fredericksburg’s Central Park shopping center.

CBRE now has responsibility for what is known as the Central Park Marketplace, about 215,000 square feet worth of real estate including everything in line from Carrabba’s to DSW as well as buildings near the intersection of Cowan Boulevard and Carl D. Silver Parkway that house Ulta, LifeWay and the former Asia Bistro.

New York-based real estate investment firm Clarion Partners owns the Central Park Marketplace.

CBRE agents Robby Brownfield and Lee Cherwek will handle leasing in that section, while Judy Guild and Katie Jones will handle property management.

The Rappaport Cos., which owns and handles leasing and property management on much of Central Park, had previously overseen the Central Park Marketplace as well.
