Chico’s moving to Spotsylvania Towne Centre

Women’s clothing retailer Chico’s will move its local store from Central Park in Fredericksburg to the open-air Village section of the Spotsylvania Towne Centre.

Chico’s recently leased about 3,000 square feet next to Bravo! Cucina Italiana in the Village area. The company will be in its current, roughly 2,500-square-foot space at 1460 Central Park Blvd. for the next few months before moving across State Route 3 this spring.

Two other fashion stores will be opening this spring inside the main part of the Spotsylvania Towne Centre.

Body Central will operate in a 3,600-square-foot location between Papaya and New York & Company, while Buckle will occupy just under 6,900 square feet in the current The Shoe Dept. location next to Hollister.

The Shoe Dept. will move to a new location next to Costco later this month as The Shoe Dept. Encore.
