Kings Dominion seeking cub reporter

Kings Dominion is looking for a reporter between the ages of 6 and 10 to break some Snoopy scoops.

The theme park, which is off Interstate 95 in Hanover County near the Caroline County line, wants to hire a child who is interested in reporting on the multi-million-dollar addition to Planet Snoopy. The ongoing work will double the children’s area to 14 acres and is being billed as “the world’s largest Peanuts-themed children’s area.”

The child chosen to be the “KidCaster reporter” will visit the park once a month between January and April to report on the construction progress. The reports will be featured on Kings Dominion’s YouTube channel and Facebook and Twitter pages.

People can apply at through Jan. 7. The application includes a 200-word-or-less description on why the child wants to be the Planet Snoopy KidCaster. The winner will be chosen Jan. 14.
