‘Top 10 of the Next Gen’ to be honored

Ten Fredericksburg-area young professionals will be honored Thursday at a holiday event organized by the local Next Generation of Business Leaders group.

This will be the second year of the “Top 10 of the Next Gen” awards. Last year’s winners picked this year’s honorees from a list of nominees. The awards go to professionals between the ages of 21 and 40 and recognize both workplace achievement and community service.

The 10 recipients will be honored at an event starting at 6 p.m. Thursday at Stevenson Ridge in Spotsylvania County. People interested in attending can contact Whitney Watts at whitney@fredericksburgchamber.org or 540/373-9400.
