Holy Cross Academy a finalist for $50,000 grant

Holy Cross Academy in Stafford County is in the running to win up to a $50,000 grant from The Clorox Co. as part of a national competition.

Holy Cross is one of the national finalists to receive the grant through Clorox’s “Power a Bright Future” program. The school would put the money toward a new athletic field.

The school that receives the most votes in the contest will receive the $50,000 grant. Smaller grant are also available for other top projects.

People 13 or older can vote for Holy Cross through text messages and Internet voting through a website Clorox has set up for the program.
