Rick Cobert, Stafford County’s new assistant economic development director.
Stafford County has a new assistant economic development director.
Rick Cobert started in that job Nov. 5, said Stafford Economic Development Director Tim Baroody. He will be tasked with helping to bring new jobs and business expansions to Stafford.
Cobert grew up in Northern Virginia and is a graduate of Randolph-Macon College. He managed a restaurant for 12 years, and for the past 12 years has worked full-time for Baltimore County’s Department of Economic Development. He was a business development manager for the department and is fully credentialed in economic development.
