Stafford self-storage facility sold for $6.85 million
A self-storage facility in Stafford County sold last month for $6.85 million, according to court records.
Storage 2000 sold the facility at 2865 Jefferson Davis Highway to Extra Space Storage Inc. on Sept. 20. The 4.55-acre site is between U.S. 1 and Interstate 95 and is just south of the Garrisonville Road interchange.
Storage 2000 continues to operate two self-storage facilities in the Fredericksburg area. Extra Space Storage is a real estate investment trust that operates self-storage facilities throughout the U.S., including several in the Fredericksburg area.
