Fredericksburg firm wins $75 million contract

Fredericksburg-based Lifecycle Construction Services Inc. recently received a U.S. Navy contract worth up to $75 million.

The firm will provide construction services on three military installations in South Carolina — Marine Corps Air Station Beaufort, Marine Corps Recruit Depot Parris Island and Naval Hospital Beaufort.

Lifecycle, whose principal office is at 1315 Jefferson Davis Highway near the Allman’s barbecue restaurant in Fredericksburg, provides design and construction services for private and public clients. The company has been named as among the fastest-growers in the Washington region, and this year it placed 153rd on the annual Inc. magazine list of the fastest-growing private companies in America.

Fourteen of the company’s 30 employees work in the Fredericksburg office, said Lifecycle President Sean Haynes.
