Southpoint property sold for $2.45 million
A McLean-based real estate investor on Wednesday purchased a multi-tenant retail building adjacent to the Lowe’s store in Spotsylvania County’s Southpoint II shopping center.
Mohtasham Mobarakeh, through an LLC, paid $2.45 million for a 13,500-square-foot building that is 100 percent leased to tenants including Bark ‘N Bubbles, Mystic Ice Gelato and Hair Cuttery.
The deal also included an adjoining 1.6-acre site that hasn’t yet been developed, said Johnson Realty Advisors President Fitz Johnson, who represented Mobarakeh. The seller was an entity of Southpoint II developer W.J. Vakos & Co.
Mobarakeh owns other properties in the Fredericksburg area. Last year he bought The Shoppes at Salem Run shopping center on Salem Church Road in Spotsylvania.
