Lake Anna Resort being planned near 208 bridge
Plans are in the works for a condominium and hotel development on the Louisa County side of the State Route 208 bridge in Lake Anna.
Plans for the Lake Anna Resort call for a hotel with resort amenities and one-, two- and three-bedroom condominiums in several waterfront buildings. Planned amenities include restaurants, pools, a private beach, a spa, boat rentals and an amphitheater for concerts and theater.
The development is being planned on about 12 acres on the left side of the road for drivers crossing the 208 bridge from Spotsylvania County into Louisa. It’s across 208 from a salmon-colored retail and office building and townhouse development.
A public informational meeting is planned at 6 p.m. Thursday at the Lake Anna Visitor Center at 2991 New Bridge Road in Mineral. The development team is now working on pre-construction condo sales and hopes to break ground on the development in about six months.
