Business notes, July 13
Here are some business notes from around the Fredericksburg area:
- Lindsay Coker Dickinson has opened an office in Fredericksburg’s Mill Race complex at 725 Jackson St. for her business, Therapy Toolbox. The company offers speech and language therapy for children.
- Horseshoes & Hand Grenades Vintage Boutique has opened its store at 1009 Princess Anne St. in downtown Fredericksburg. The company — which sells vintage clothing, records and other items — relocated to the larger space from about a block over on Caroline Street. Apple Music was formerly in the Princess Anne Street space across from Hyperion Espresso.
- Rebecca Rubin, president and CEO of Fredericksburg-based Marstel-Day, has been named to the National Wildlife Refuge Association’s board of directors.
- Robert M. Gorman has been named executive vice president and chief financial officer of Union First Market Bankshares Corp., effective July 23. He will succeed Tony Peay, who was recently named the company’s chief banking officer.
