Ten Thousand Villages moving to Spotsy
Ten Thousand Villages plans to move its local store from Fredericksburg’s Central Park to the open-air Village section of the Spotsylvania Towne Centre.
The store’s five-year lease in Central Park is up soon, and the company decided to move across State Route 3 to the mall complex.
The 2,700-square-foot Ten Thousand Villages store at the mall will be between Books-A-Million and Aveda Tulip Salon & Spa. It’s tentatively scheduled to open in September.
Ten Thousand Villages offers hand-crafted jewelry, home décor, personal accessories, tableware, stationery, art and gift items from artisans in developing countries.
