Buy Buy Baby, Christmas Tree Shops to open by end of year

Buy Buy Baby and Christmas Tree Shops will open by the end of December in the former Shoppers Food & Pharmacy space in Fredericksburg’s Central Park shopping center, a spokeswoman for the two retailers’ parent company said.
Bed Bath & Beyond Inc. owns both of the retailers coming to the former grocery store space at 1320 Carl D. Silver Parkway. Buy Buy Baby is a baby-supply store, while Christmas Tree Shops sells a variety of discounted items including home furnishings.
Buy Buy Baby will be on the left to someone facing the former Shoppers building. That store will be about 36,000 square feet. The Christmas Tree Shops store will occupy about 42,000 square feet.
