Stafford company files for bankruptcy

Stafford County-based CR Painting & Plus Inc. filed for Chapter 7 bankruptcy protection last week, according to electronic records with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of Virginia. The company, whose mailing address is listed on Paradise Court in Stafford, reported assets of about $25,000 and liabilities of about $2 million. Franciscio Rodriguez is listed as the company’s president and is represented in the bankruptcy proceedings by Fairfax County attorney Joseph M. Langone.
