Local businesses recognized as among ‘Best of Virginia’

WHO ELSE? What other local businesses should have made the list? Tell us on our facebook page.

Several Fredericksburg-area businesses won recognition in Virginia Living’s annual “Best of Virginia” edition, which recently hit newsstands. The results are based on nearly 10,000 reader responses (as a side note, is now conducting its “Simply the Best of Fredericksburg poll”). The Fredericksburg area is classified as being in Virginia Living’s Central region, which also includes Richmond, Lynchburg and Charlottesville. Richmond dominated the results for the Central region (several businesses based in Richmond that also have a presence in Fredericksburg — including Capital Ale House, Sweet Frog, Home Team Grill, Saxon Shoes and F.W. Sullivan’s — were also honored). Click here for a full database of winners from throughout the state. Here are the local businesses that were honored. Top-three finishers were listed. My apologies if I missed any.
