Blue & Gray Brewing creates beer for Capital Ale anniversary
Spotsylvania County-based Blue & Gray Brewing Co. has created a special beer for Capital Ale House’s 10th-anniversary celebration.
Blue & Gray brewer David Achkio’s new concoction, “Kollaboration Kolsch,” will be tapped for the first time at 6 p.m. Friday at Capital Ale’s Fredericksburg location. The light, golden ale will be available at all five Capital Ale House locations while it lasts.
Capital Ale’s first Richmond location opened in 2002, the same year Blue & Gray started. Capital Ale has worked with various brewers to create special beers for this year’s anniversary.
