Wescoat wins Chamber’s Wideman award

Lisa Wescoat, business development manager at NSWC Federal Credit Union, received the Laurie A. Wideman Enterprising Woman’s Award at a luncheon held today at Stevenson Ridge in Spotsylvania County. Wescoat is the second winner of the Fredericksburg Regional Chamber of Commerce’s annual award, which goes to a community-minded, independent, honest and energetic female Chamber member. The honor is named for the late Laurie Wideman, who served on the Chamber’s board of directors and who died in October 2010. Janel Donohue, president of Rappahannock United Way, received the award last year.
