Fredericksburg-area businesses recognized as ‘job creators’
Virginia Gov. Bob McDonnell recognized several Fredericksburg-area businesses in November, which he declared “Job Creator Appreciation Month.” Twenty different Virginia businesses were recognized, one for each business day in November. Here are the locally based businesses that McDonnell’s office recognized this month, with a link to the information posted on the governor’s website:
- Nov. 1: C3RS, a tire recycling company based in Louisa County
- Nov. 11: SimVentions, a defense contractor based in Spotsylvania County
- Nov. 22: Marstel Day, an environmental consulting firm based in Fredericksburg
- Nov. 28: Plumb Magic, a plumbing service and remodeling company based in Fredericksburg
- Nov. 29: Harvest Market, an organic food market based in Spotsylvania County
