City Council to consider three incentive applications Nov. 8

Fredericksburg City Council at its Nov. 8 meeting will consider three incentive applications from new or expanding businesses.

  • F.W. Sullivan’s Old Town Bar & Grille has asked for a downtown tourism zone incentive for its restaurant at 407-409 William St., which is expected to open Nov. 9.
  • Document conversion company ILM Corp. has asked for a downtown technology zone incentive. The company, which is currently on Industrial Court in Spotsylvania County, plans to buy a 5,000-square-foot automotive facility at 600 Lafayette Blvd. and convert it into its new headquarters.
  • Greenbrier Music has asked for a downtown tourism zone incentive toward its new store at 721 Caroline St. The store will sell drums, guitars, amplifiers, keyboards, lighting and other musical accessories.

Details of how much the businesses are asking for in incentives were not available.
