Lucky Line Motors buys former Medic-1 property

A company that specializes in imported Japanese and German used cars, trucks and parts last week purchased the former Medic-1 health clinic property on U.S. 1 near the Fredericksburg-Spotsylvania County line.

Fahim Mohammad, a Lorton man who is one of the owners of Lucky Line Motors, paid $630,000 for the property at 3429 Jefferson Davis Highway, according to Spotsylvania property records. He bought it from Dr. Warren E. Parmelee, who owned the now-bankrupt Medic-1 urgent-care business. The 0.96-acre property includes a 4,400-square-foot building and is assessed at $992,500, according to Spotsylvania property records.

Lucky Line Motors will keep its current location at 127-A Fleming St. in Spotsylvania and use it for storage, Mohammad said. The new location, which will likely open in a couple of months, will be for retail automotive sales.

Berkley Mitchell and Mike Degen of Cushman & Wakefield | Thalhimer handled the sale.
