Colonial Forge development under construction
Augustine Homes has started construction on its Colonial Forge subdivision off Courthouse Road near the high school with the same name in Stafford County.
A section of Colonial Forge that has been approved for 67 single-family homes is under construction, according to Stafford planning staff. The project also includes the construction of about 7,000 linear feet of roadway named Woodcutters Road, which will connect Courthouse Road and Kellogg Mill Road. Augustine Homes also has an approved construction plan for 20 single-family homes and 104 townhouses in another section of the development.
In total, Augustine has been approved to build 430 homes at Colonial Forge, planning staff say. There may be multi-family dwellings built at Colonial Forge in addition to that total in the future, but plans for that have not yet been submitted to the county.
