Union Bank seeks longer hours at downtown branch
Union First Market Bank is seeking approval from the city of Fredericksburg to operate its downtown branch at 725 Kenmore Ave. for longer hours. The Richmond-based bank wants to open the branch to the public between 8:30 a.m. and 6 p.m. Monday through Saturday, according to a public notice on the matter. A public hearing will be held before the Fredericksburg Planning Commission on Aug. 10.
