Rappahannock Council on Domestic Violence moves to former Spotsy bank building

The Rappahannock Council on Domestic Violence has leased and moved into larger space at the former Virginia Heartland Bank branch (now StellarOne) at the intersection of U.S. 1 and Harrison Road in Spotsylvania County (pictured here). The RCDV is a nonprofit organization that has provided confidential domestic violence assistance in Fredericksburg, Stafford, Spotsylvania, King George and Caroline since 1978. The organization’s mailing address and phone number remain the same.

The 5,500-square-foot building at 4700 Harrison Road had been vacant since early 2008. Jamie Scully and Neil Sullivan of Cushman & Wakefield | Thalhimer were involved with the lease negotiations.

Thalhimer also reports the following area leasing activity of late. The Thalhimer agent who was involved with the deal is next to the lease details:

Fox Physical Therapy has leased 2,075 sq.ft. of office space in Snowden Office Park at 605 Jefferson Davis Hwy. in Fredericksburg. (Mary Katherine Greenlaw and Wilson Greenlaw)

UPS Store has renewed its lease of 1,200 sq.ft. of retail space in Shoppes at Four Mile fork at 10908 Courthouse Rd. in Spotsylvania. (Jamie Scully)

New Hope Christian Ministries has leased 3,150 sq.ft. of church space at 565 White Oak Road in Fredericksburg. (Virgil Nelson)
