Marstel-Day wins $8 million Army contract

Fredericksburg-based environmental consulting company Marstel-Day has received an $8 million contract from the U.S. Army, the Department of Defense announced yesterday evening. The contract is for “architect-engineer services to provide environmental support to military, civil, and federal agencies in the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Mobile District. ” Work will be performed in Mobile, Ala., with an estimated completion date of June 14, 2016.  Marstel-Day competed against 27 other firms that bid for the contract.
