Local Greene Turtle, Home Team Grill hosting VCU-watching parties Saturday

The Greene Turtle Sports Bar & Grille at the Village at Spotsylvania Towne Centre and the Home Team Grill at Fredericksburg’s Eagle Village will both play host to parties geared around Virginia Commonwealth University’s men’s basketball game Saturday evening, according to information about watch parties compiled by the university and sent out to alumni. VCU says the list of watch parties, which includes locations throughout Virginia and beyond, is constantly being updated. The Final Four game, which is being played in Houston, starts just after 6 p.m. Saturday.

Good luck getting any service at the Green Turtle. That place is the WORST restaurant that I have EVER been too. If you go to just watch the game and not eat or drink then you will be good to go. But if you want any food or drinks good luck!

I don’t know the last time John has been to the Greene Turtle, but I LOVE it there. I go twice a week just to watch my hockey team and I have never had an issue with service. A fun and friendly place, I would recommend it to anybody. They even have televisions in the booths. I will definitely be cheering on the Rams at the Greene Turtle with my friends!!
