SimVentions wins Navy contract
SimVentions Inc., a growing defense contractor based in Spotsylvania County, recently won a $687,000 contract from the U.S. Navy for work at the Dahlgren base in King George County.
The work involves helping the Navy transition its software applications. If all options are exercised, the total value of the contract would be close to $850,000.
The University of Mary Washington, which is building a graduate and research campus near the Dahlgren base, is a key partner in the contract, SimVentions officials say.
