Fauquier County plumbing company files for bankruptcy
Hays Inc., a Fauquier County plumbing company located on Free State Road in Marshall, filed for Chapter 7 bankruptcy protection this past week in Alexandria federal district court. The company, whose president is Michael E. Hays, estimates assets at $0 to $50,000 and liabilities at $100,001 to $500,000. Creditors include BB&T, Capital One, Home Depot, Verizon and the Fauquier County treasurer.
