Hobby Lobby will open its planned store in Fredericksburg’s Central Park shopping center next month, the company said this week in a news release. The arts and crafts store is going into the 53,500-square-foot space formerly occupied by Linens ‘n Things. The store is the Oklahoma-based company’s second in Virginia. Denise Yurgel is the store manager. Hobby Lobby ran an ad in Sunday’s FLS saying it is accepting applications for full-time and part-time positions Tuesday through Saturday from 8:30 a.m. until 6 p.m. at the Comfort Inn at 5422 Jefferson Davis Highway in Spotsylvania County’s Southpoint area.
