George Steinbrenner’s death and estate taxes
The Associated Press has an interesting article on how the timing of yesterday’s death of billionaire New York Yankees owner George Steinbrenner will save the surviving family a mint in estate/death taxes due to a quirk in the law that eliminates the tax for this year only.
