Gain stock wisdom from snow shovels

MANY, if not most, people are intimi- dated by investing, believing the principles are beyond their ability to understand.

But anyone who has lived through a winter such as the one we’re having in the Fredericksburg area should easily be able to grasp the basic ideas of what makes a successful investment.

These thoughts were running through my mind as I shoveled the front steps of my home this past week for the umpteenth time.
