Taxable sales decline in Fredericksburg area in 2009
Taxable sales declined 2.5 percent in the Fredericksburg area in 2009 from the year before, according to Virginia Department of Taxation data out today. It includes both the overall sales tax revenue as well as the 1 percent that localities get.
