Corporate America is ignoring basic tenet of investing
ONE GOAL of every stock investor is to buy low.
By that measure, corporate America has failed miserably as an investor.
Big U.S. companies were buying back their own stock like crazy as the market was setting new highs in 2007. As prices got cheaper, buybacks declined. Huh?
