Just finished a terrifying book on nuclear attack

I just finished reading William R. Forstchen’s "One Second After," a terrifying fictional tale about a nuclear attack over the U.S. that sets off an Electromagnetic Pulse that destroys the country’s electrical grid and changes our way of life.     I saw these players on some C-span show several weeks ago.Of course, it will take billions and billions to defend ourselves from such a threat. I swear, these people sit around all day dreaming this stuff up and then they ask Congress for more money to devise some program that will allegedly defend us from the threat. That’s how the military industrial complex works.
