Can masks predict the election?

Can the sale of Halloween costume masks accurately predict who will win the presidential election? That’s what BuyCostumes.com says. The online retailer says the presidential candidate whose mask sold better has won every presidential election back to 1980. I’ll have more on this in a Thursday article in The Free Lance-Star Business section, but for now here are the results thus far at BuyCostumes.com and also Amazon.com. As you can see, Obama masks are outselling McCain’s.
