Stafford subdivision is planned near I-95
A preliminary plan has been submitted to Stafford County planners for a new 51-home subdivision near the Courthouse Road interchange off Interstate 95.
The homes would be built on 24 acres east of Austin Ridge Drive and north of Courthouse Road, just to the south of the Austin Ridge subdivision. It’s part of the 73-acre Westgate Center at Stafford Courthouse development.
Later plans call for as much as 645,000 square feet of commercial space at Westgate that would be south of the new homes and front I-95. The development would be accessed off Austin Ridge Drive.
Ryan Homes parent NVR Inc. plans to purchase the 51 residential lots and build the homes in the new subdivision, which is close to two other communities being developed: Embrey Mill and Colonial Forge.
