Last space in QCC is leased
About 450,000 square feet of office space has been developed in the past few years at the Quantico Corporate Center in North Stafford, and every bit of it is now spoken for.
TrustComm Inc. recently leased about 13,000 square feet at the center off U.S. 1, filling all the remaining office vacancies in the buildings at 800 Corporate Drive and 525 Corporate Drive, said David Newman, a vice president for QCC developer the Silver Cos.
TrustComm Inc. is a defense contractor, like most of the businesses that have been attracted to the QCC in large part for its proximity to the Quantico Marine Corps Base. Additional office space is planned at the development. Stafford County officials are leading an effort to create a defense-related research and technology park there.
Newman is also working to attract more retail users to the center. He said two eateries — Black Lime Mediterranean Café and Delmarva’s Southern Café – recently signed leases to occupy planned new buildings at the QCC.
