Stafford EDA to get 150K

Stafford County’s Board of Supervisors this week voted to transfer $150,000 to the county’s Economic Development Authority.

The new EDA funds are intended to be used to incentivize several business prospects to come to Stafford. No specifics were available about the prospects.

The money will be transferred from the Stafford Opportunity Fund to the EDA, which might hold a special meeting soon to discuss the prospects.
