The Gnarly Hops brewfest will return to Culpeper this year on April 26.
This year, there will be 10 more breweries on tap, and more than 70 different beer selections. Some of the Virginia breweries participating include Devil’s Backbone, Starr Hill, Blue Mountain and Wild Wolf Brewing Company. Non-local breweries participating include Goose Island, Sweetwater, Ommegang and Lagunitas, and Bold Rock Hard Cider.
The festival will take place noon to 6 p.m. in downtown Culpeper and in addition to beer, there will be food vendors and live music.
Tickets are $25 and include a tasting glass, 10 four oz. beer tastings, and general admission. Advance tickets can be purchased at the Culpeper Cheese Company, Vinosity, and Randy’s flowers, and online.
Non-drinking tickets will also be available for $5 at the gate at the event.
