Another small earthquake recorded in Louisa
A 2.0-magnitude earthquake was recorded in Louisa County Wednesday night.
According to data from the U.S. Geological Society, the weak quake hit around 6:35 p.m. Wednesday, but didn’t cause any damage.
The epicenter of the quake was located 1 kilometer east of Louisa.
A 5.8 magnitude earthquake was centered near Mineral on Aug. 23, 2011, and the area has had several smaller aftershocks ever since.
