Man robs Hair Cuttery in Stafford County
By KEITH EPPS
A robber got away with an undisclosed amount of money after holding up a Stafford hair salon at gunpoint Sunday evening, police said.
Sheriff’s Maj. David Decatur said a man entered the Hair Cuttery at 364 Garrisonville Road about 7:15 p.m. and walked toward the register. The last customer had just left and a store manager had just put the day’s proceeds in a bank bag and was getting ready to lock up for the evening.
The man displayed a small silver handgun and demanded money from the register, where the manager had just put it. Decatur said the man told her to “hurry up and give me the money. It’s not worth your life.”
The victim complied and the man walked out of the store and headed east. Deputies Shawn Efimenco and Scott Myers responded to the call, along with a police dog, but the suspect was not found.
He was described as a white male in his 20s, 5 feet 9 inches tall and 180 pounds. He had a trimmed beard and was wearing jeans, a black or blue sweater and a gray beanie.
