Andrea Ilardia

Andrea Ilardia is a volunteer at Hugh Mercer Elementary and Lafeyette Upper Elementary schools. She serves as a translator, bus monitor and many other roles throughout the schools. She also has four kids in the city school system. She was on her husband’s visa, but he passed away in 2009. She’s going through the process to get another extension, but could potentially be deported and she has the support of many in the community to stay.
