Grafitti is art

Gabriel Pons works on a mixed media painting in the backyard of the PONSHOP Art Studio on Caroline Street in downtown Fredericksburg on February 7, 2012. He and his wife, Scarlett Pons, moved to Fredericksburg in 2005 from NYC to pursue their art and raise their children. Some of his work is inspired by NYC street art and graffiti.
