Winter’s arrival

Today is not only the first day of December, but the first day of winter as well. Frost covered everything on Thursday morning including this pin oak leaf along Washington Ave. in Fredericksburg. The region has been experiencing mild weather recently with temperatures in the 60s and 70s, but the experts at AccuWeather are predicting that our area could see significant snow fall and ice storms this season.
