Spinning lights

Due to the use of a long exposure, the ferris wheel appears to be spinning at a high rate of speed as the midway is lit up at the 2011 Fredericksburg Agricultural Fair in Fredericksburg, Va on Thursday, August 4, 2011. Originally established in 1738, the event claims to be America’s oldest agricultural fair. Sunday is the last day of the Fair. (Dave Ellis/ The Free Lance-Star)
